Unit Bench — Privacy Policy
In short: Unit Bench does not collect, store on any server, share or sell any personal data. Everything you enter stays on your device.
What the app stores
To remember your work between sessions, Unit Bench saves a small amount of information in the app's private storage on your device:
- the value on the keypad and the units chosen in each category,
- the unit pairs you pinned and your most recent conversions (up to 20),
- your settings, such as significant digits, thousands separators and vibration.
This information never leaves your device. You can erase it at any time with Setup > Reset everything, and it is removed completely when you uninstall the app.
What the app does not do
- It does not collect or transmit personal or usage data of any kind.
- It does not use the internet: the app has no network permission and makes no network requests.
- It contains no advertising, no analytics, no crash reporting and no other third-party SDKs.
- It has no accounts, sign-in or in-app purchases.
- It does not access your location, contacts, photos, files, camera or microphone.
Permissions
The only permission the app uses is vibration, for an optional short tick when you press a key. You can turn it off in Setup.
Children
Unit Bench is a general-purpose tool and is not directed at children under 13. Because the app collects no personal information from anyone, it does not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at this address with a new effective date. Any change will keep to the principle that your data stays on your device.
