Privacy Policy
Effective date: 13 October 2026
Tally Grid is a habit tracker for Android. This policy explains what happens to the information you enter in the app. In short: it stays on your phone, and nobody else, including us, receives it.
Information we collect
None. Tally Grid does not collect, record or transmit any personal or usage information. It has no accounts, no sign-in, no analytics, no advertising and no crash reporting, and it does not access the internet.
What is stored on your device
To work, the app keeps the following in its private storage on your phone:
- the habits you create: their names, colors and goals;
- the days you mark as done;
- your settings: the first day of the week and whether vibration is on.
This data never leaves your device. You can erase your habits and marks at any time with Settings > Reset everything (the two settings above are kept), and everything is removed completely when you uninstall the app. App data is excluded from Android cloud backups.
Permissions
The only permission Tally Grid requests is vibration, used for a short tick when you mark a day or save a change. You can switch it off in the app's settings. The app does not request internet, location, contacts, camera, storage or any other permission.
Third parties
The app contains no third-party software development kits for advertising, analytics, payments or sign-in. No information is sold, shared or disclosed to anyone.
Children
Tally Grid is not directed at children under 13. Because the app collects no information from anyone, it does not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at the same address with a new effective date. Because the app collects no data, any change will not affect information already held by us: there is none.
