Privacy Policy for Focus Blocks
In short: Focus Blocks does not collect, transmit or share any information. Everything you enter stays on your phone.
What the app stores
To work, Focus Blocks keeps the following on your device only, in the app's own private storage:
- your session plan (focus and break lengths, number of blocks) and your settings;
- the optional labels you type for your sessions, and a short list of recent labels;
- the session in progress, so the timer can continue after the app is closed;
- your log: the number of completed focus blocks per day and a list of recent sessions.
This information never leaves the device. You can delete it at any time with "Clear log" or "Reset everything" in the app's Settings, and it is removed completely when you uninstall the app.
What the app does not do
- It does not collect personal information and does not ask for an account or sign-in.
- It has no internet access and sends no data to us or to anyone else.
- It contains no advertising, analytics, tracking or crash-reporting services, and no other third-party SDKs that could collect data.
- It does not access your location, contacts, camera, microphone, files or health data.
Permissions
The only permission the app requests is vibration, used to signal the start of each focus block or break while the app is open. Keeping the screen on during a running phase uses a display setting of the app's own window and needs no permission.
Children
Focus Blocks is not directed at children under 13. Because the app collects no personal information from anyone, it does not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at this address with a new effective date.
