Crescent Days Privacy Policy
Crescent Days is a moon phase calendar for Android. This policy explains what happens to information when you use it. In short: the app does not collect, send or share any personal data.
Information we collect
None. The app does not ask for your name, email address, location or any other personal information, has no accounts or sign-in, and does not use analytics, crash reporting or advertising identifiers.
What is stored on your device
To remember your choices, the app keeps a small amount of data in its own private storage on your phone:
- your settings: hemisphere, 12 or 24 hour clock, first day of the week and vibration on or off;
- the calendar month and day you last looked at.
This data never leaves the device. It is not included in Android backups, and it is removed when you uninstall the app. You can also clear it at any time with "Reset everything" in the app's Settings.
Network access
Every calculation happens on the phone. The app does not request the internet permission and makes no network connections, so nothing can be transmitted from it.
Permissions
The only permission the app uses is vibration, for a short tick when you tap controls. You can turn this off in Settings.
Third-party services
The app contains no third-party SDKs, advertising networks, analytics or tracking tools, and no data is shared with or sold to anyone.
Children
Crescent Days is not designed for children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the new version will be published at this address with a new effective date. Because the app collects no data, a change could not apply to data gathered earlier.
